We here at Cali Style love open source projects.

The Open Source movement is a pretty big deal to us. When we set out to dabble in the latest and greatest technology, we learned a few things the hard way. But that’s exactly the point; we learned. And we overcame obstacles that allowed us to create a conventional structure on top of some of the best technology available today.

What does that mean for you? Our being able to engage with and maximize source codes allows us to enhance and diversity production models, communication paths, and interactive communities.

Our Node.js Open Source Platforms

• Treefrog: Our latest and greatest, Treefrog is an isomorphic framework for building powerful environment aware apps on Node.js and Angular2. To get started visit our Git Repo.

• Humpback: Have you been on some of the sites we've built and were thinking, "Wow, they are really, really fast!" Well, that's because we built them on Humpback and Humpback is really, really fast. We Open Sourced Humpback so that every developer can get the chance to use it. To get started visit our Git Repo. Humpback was born out of necessity. We fell in love with sails.js, Angular.js, and Zurb Foundation and we knew right away that we wanted to build an intuitive platform to use these frameworks in large production level applications at blistering development speeds. The first attempts at Humpback were behind closed doors and intended to be proprietary. Then, after many many debates, we decided to OS an entire rebuild of Humpback using node-machines, possibly treeline, JSdata, Foundation-apps, and all the wonderful new projects that have come out recently. We are building the platform publicly so there is as much external input as possible and will launch contributor guidelines when they are ready.
